MATRIMONY PREPARATIONS: To begin marriage preparation at Spirit of Christ, please call the parish office to make an appointment with which ever priest or deacon you’d like to be the celebrant of the wedding, or contact Kathy Galiffa by to find out details of marriage preparation and the process. This takes a minimum of 8 to 12 months to complete.
BIBLE STUDY: Offered several times a year. Call the office for information or keep an eye on the Sunday Bulletin.
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA): Catechetical formation for adults wanting to become Catholic. Included in this process are those who are un-baptized, those baptized in other Christian Churches and adult Catholics who have only been baptized. Regular sessions are held throughout the year with several points of entry. The first part of the process begins with Inquiry which is held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00. The length of the process depends on whether the person is un-baptized or baptized and how much they know about the Catholic Church. The usual length of time for someone who is un-baptized is approximately one year.
RE-MEMBERERS: Re-memberers is designed to help Catholics who have left the church and wish to explore the possibility of returning.
ADULT CONFIRMATION
Classes are held once a year for anyone who is out of high school who wants to be confirmed.
