ONLINE DONATIONS

A number of parishioners have asked if the parish would make online donating an option. In turn, the Finance Council looked at many options, solicited your feedback and chose the option which was convenient and most secure. We are happy to announce you can have Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) directly from your account into the parish account. This service is being provided through Vanco Services, a secure PCI Compliant company that has processed electronic donations for thousands of churches and nonprofit organizations. They have met the most stringent compliance requirements for processing payments.

To donate, simply click on the “Donate Now” button to the left and proceed to the Vanco secure site to enter your account information and set-up your donation (one time or regular recurring donations). You can print out a report for your records, which will itemize all the online donations you have made to the parish. In addition, the parish will get a notice of the donation and will continue to post your donations to your record for the year-end tax letter. This option will save you time in writing checks, save the parish the expense of mailing monthly contribution envelopes and will insure that your financial information is not seen or known by anyone not authorized to have the information. Check it out.

If you have questions or concerns after logging onto the Vanco site, please don’t hesitate to contact the office. Of course, we will continue to provide envelopes for anyone that does not wish to use the online donation option. If, however, you prefer to donate online and will no longer need your monthly envelopes, simply submit your request in the form to the left and we will be happy to discontinue mailing monthly envelopes.

As always, thank you for your generous sharing of “treasure” in the spirit and practice of stewardship.
